I am so happy that I finally managed to piece the label back together again. I absolutely love this thread and since it was gifted to me I couldn't find it. I will be ordering this so that I have a constant supply. My favorite thread to use now

Laura Rapai brought the 80 wt. thread to a quilting weekend, so I tried it on my binding. It is WONDERFUL! You can barely see it - now I have to find a supplier to get some of my own!

I was at a quilt retreat this weekend and Laura Rapai suggested using the 80 wt. thread to put my binding on. It was fantastic!!! You could barely see the thread on the back. Now I need to find it at a dealer in the area.

I was at a quilters retreat with Laura Rapai. I was complaining how much I disliked binding my quilts. Laura suggested I use my walking foot. That certainly made things easier. Then Laura suggested using the 80wt Quilters thread. Wow! I’m a convert! It’s strong, light and combo poly and cotton. I would not have believed it unless I tried it myself. It is actually easier to sew with. My machine doesn’t work as hard and the project goes faster. Thank you Laura and Quilters . DS

I just bought this Quilters 80 wt para cotton poly thread for english paper piecing and hand applique work. I absolutely l love this thread! It goes through my english paper piecing like butter. It doesn't tangle or break. My stitches are virtually invisible!! I plan on using this thread for my applique as well. I have used Bottom Line and Invisifill threads. I prefer this thread over both of these for my hand work. I bought a bobbin sample ring of thread the quilt show to test it out. Just ordered 10 spools more. This is my favorite thread. Would like to try the 60 wt thread for my quilt piecing.

I just tried the 80wt to hand sew the back of this binding and instantly fell in love with! Is that possible to love thread? Well I'm sold. I won't go back to my old. Now to find a retailer to get more colors!

I have only tested it on embroidery, it was just a 3 inch wide donut but it was amazing. I used a white prewound bobbin and I did not see any bobbin thread on either side. It was so perfect, the machine didn't seem to have to work as hard as with the 40 weight rayon thread ( my machine made much less noise) . The way in which they chose to measure the thread on the spools and the bobbins differently: one in meters and the bobbins in yards? That is confusing for me. So for me that means a bit of homework :). Love this thread, no puckering and my ideas for embroidering on anything is exciting. Thanks for this new thread. My only suggestion is the confusion created by the method used to measure the thread. Even the employees at the sewing machine dealer don't know how to convert the method of measuring. So now comes the homework. Still so worth it, and an easy fix for you guys at Floriani...it's not the thread just the labeling. Can't believe I can use it on quilting as well. The strength must be amazing. Love this thread :)

Quilted with para-cotton in top and bobbin of machine on a quilting weekend. I sewed noon on Friday until Sunday morning on ONE bobbin! Wound half a bobbin with the remainder of the spool, and put a second spool on top. Not having to change thread while piecing was amazing and increased my efficiency. And my machine was pretty clean as this product does not produce much lint. Hope you will consider making this great product in larger spools. I am sew happy!
